inter}artes handbook and DVD



The inter}artes thematic network 2004 – 2007 compiled all network results in one Handbook + DVD. The steering group wishes to thank all contributors to the Handbook for this major collective achievement. The activities of inter}artes are being continued with new priorities by the Erasmus network Artesnet Europe, (link) which will run until October 2010.



The Handbook comprises:


Findings & Results: conclusions and articles on Quality Assurance and Enhancement; Tuning and Qualifications Frameworks; Innovation and Tradition; Professional Practice.

Reference Documents & Toolkits: four Tuning Documents and a Reading Grid on knowledge, skills and competences for Higher Arts Education; Guidelines for Quality Assurance and Enhancement; Toolkit Student Tracking; and the Emappa plan for a European Master’s course/module on Advanced Professional Practice.

Case Studies on innovation building on distinct artistic and cultural traditions

Narratives by active inter}artes partners.

The DVD comprises audiovisual material on the case studies, the film ‘Training and tracking the student artist’, Tuning Documents translated into French and German, PP presentations and other additional materials.
Inter}artes partner institutions will receive the Handbook in May.
